WHY REGISTER?

The Mondial Choral Loto-Québec is the meeting place for national and international choral singing – the biggest gathering of choirs on the American continent.

The Festival portion of the Mondial Choral is open to choirs from the four corners of the World from the 21st to the 29th of June. There are no limitations to the repertory. Since its inception, four years ago, the Festival portion has welcomed amateurs and professionals alike. If your goal is to present your own choral concerts before large enthusiastic crowds, then it’s time for you to register. Do it now, it’s free! It’s your chance to sing before an important audience in concert halls and churches across Laval. And you may register as a chorister or along with your choir to any one or more of the events we propose.

The concerts
This fourth edition includes a series of innovations. We now offer the possibility to participate to:

• The opening gala, on the 20th of June, celebrating the grand opening of this year’s edition: A grand concert featuring hundreds of choristers and a professional orchestra.
• A major concert happening featuring choristers and a symphony orchestra. Hundreds of choristers will be invited to sing in this huge exterior concert event scheduled for various nights between the 21st and the 29th of June.
• The Saint-Baptiste Day event!  Renowned Quebec artists, hundreds of choristers and a symphony orchestra on our main exterior stage, the 23rd and 24th of June.
• Our usual daily activities, including Choirs across the City and the Choral Marathon, where the stage is given to choirs and choristers.

Available services
The organisers of the Mondial Choral work very hard to ensure that participating choristers will have a pleasant stay during their visit. Here is what we offer you:

• Free on site transportation for all choral related activities;
• The possibility of free accommodations in dorms or homestay;
• Preferential rates for air and land transportation;
• Preferential rates on hotel and hostel accommodations;
• Free pre-concert cafeteria meals;
• Preferential rates on meals outside of the concert schedules;
• Preferential rates on tourism activities in the immediate and greater Laval region;
• Complementary activities exclusive to choirs such as theme workshops, vocal training, master classes, common song, etc.

Theme workshops are given by competent and friendly mentors recognized as experts in their field. Register for free to any workshop, and share and perfect your knowledge of music. • Free access to certain shows, concerts and activities of the Mondial Choral Loto-Québec;
• Free listing in the official brochure of the Mondial Choral, as a performing choir;
• Unlimited access to the Choral Village situated right in the heart of Mondial Choral during the event, which is scheduled from the 20th to the 29th of June. The Choral Village is the epicentre of all choral activities, where choristers will find:
• The information and registration center, where friendly personnel is available to answer all questions relating to their participation to the event;
• The cafeteria;
• The Internet café;
• A bulletin board with regular postings also available for special requests and announcements; if you wish to post a message on this board, please send it to us by e-mail, at participants@mondialchoral.org;
• A professional photographer ready to immortalize their visit to the Mondial Choral Loto-Québec;
• And so much more!

* You remain responsible for all your expenses, as well as for any traveling visas, permits or any other document required for your visit to Canada, if applicable. We may provide you, upon written request, with a letter of invitation to the event, should same prove helpful.
